Hi, Stephanie --

Rose, along with the rest of us (Karen, Brit, and me - Johnett) will need to discuss, but I'm sure you would be welcome to at least come for a visit. I'll check with everyone and we'll get back with you. Sorry it took so long for us to get this, by the way. You can see we're not terribly regular post-ers. ;-)

Hope you have a great New Year. You may contact us directly, if you wish, at the following addresses:
Rose - rosiemac4@yahoo.com
Johnett - johnett42@yahoo.com

Thanks. -- js

Hi, is it Rose?

Looks like my writing group is going to disband next month, so I'm exploring writing groups in south Austin.

If your group is open to new members and meets far south, please let me know.

I've been an at-large SCN member for some time and have moderated a free range reading group in Sunset Valley
since '05. The bio on my webpage lists some of the
places I've been published.

Man, I love this can! Just looking at it reminds me that even when I think I'm dry after one of our group meetings, someone will dig their hand in and pull out a thin white strip. We all wait, wide-eyed until someone reads the prompt. Thrill or dread sinks in and even when I'm sure I have nothing left to say, my pen starts moving across the page. And the something that comes out in those timed minutes is great fun. Quickwrites with my fellow Chickenscratchers is a thrill, free fun! Thanks, Can of Worms!

Ladies, what a wonderful idea! A great way to share your circle with the world, and continue your circle even when you're not together in the same room. I'll look forward to seeing more!
